Ser Educacional (SEER3) acquired UNESC-RO.

UNESC (Sociedade Educacional de Rondônia), founded in 1985, maintains four faculties in Porto Velho, Vilhena, Cacoal and Ji-Paraná, with 2,900 on-campus students, 35 courses on three campuses, 60 annual medical-school seats in Vilhena and a base in health and law.

Ser Educacional (SEER3), from Recife, is one of the largest private education groups in the country and a leader in the North and Northeast, owner of Uninassau.

This acquisition marks Ser's entry into Rondônia with a medical asset. The payment is R$70 million in cash and R$50 million in four annual installments by the IPCA, with an earn-out of up to R$55 million if the MEC authorizes 50 additional medical-school seats in Vilhena within three years.
