Ser Educacional acquired Centro Universitário 7 de Setembro.

The Centro Universitário 7 de Setembro (UNI7), in Fortaleza, has more than 20 years, about 1,600 students in hybrid graduation, highlighted in Law, Administration, Engineering and Psychology, and net revenue of approximately R$18 million in the last 12 months.

Ser Educacional (SEER3), from Recife, is one of the largest higher education groups in the country, with more than 300,000 students, owner of Uninassau, and expands its presence in Ceará after announcing UNIJUAZEIRO.

This acquisition seeks to reinforce Ser's presence in Ceará with a traditional institution in the capital. The payment is R$5 million upfront and up to R$5 million in three annual installments adjusted based on the CDI rate. The operation is subject to approval by Brazil’s Administrative Council for Economic Defense (CADE).
