Inspira completed the acquisition of Colégio 7 de Setembro.

Colégio 7 de Setembro is one of the most traditional schools in Fortaleza, founded by Professor Edilson Brasil Soárez more than eight decades ago, with three headquarters, more than 200 classrooms and management of the Soárez family; Henrique Soárez, grandson of the founder, remains in charge.

Inspira Rede de Educadores, based in Rio and linked to BTG Pactual's private equity fund, has been operating for four years, 84 schools, 51,000 students and revenues of R$800 million in 2021, after buying 35 schools that year, with a target of R$1 billion in 2022.

This operation marks Inspira's entry into Ceará with a reference brand; for the Soárez family, it resolves the succession and brings capital to expand, with a new unit planned in Eusébio. The operation depends on approval by Brazil’s Administrative Council for Economic Defense (CADE).
